From Brand to Website for KL SEN Consultancy

Working with Kathryn from KL SEN Consultancy was one of those projects that reminded me exactly why I do what I do.

Kathryn came to me at the very beginning of her business journey. She had a clear purpose, a deep sense of integrity, and a passion for helping families navigate the world of Special Educational Needs with empathy, clarity, and confidence. She just needed the right brand identity — and later, a website — to communicate all of that.

And together, we made it happen.

Starting from Scratch: Building a Brand with Purpose

Kathryn’s work is incredibly personal. As a SEN consultant, she supports not just children, but the parents, schools and professionals involved in their journey. Her approach is thoughtful, inclusive, and reassuring — and we knew the brand had to reflect all of that.

We began with a brand questionnaire and discovery call, which helped us get clear on her values, voice, and vision for the business. From there, I crafted a visual identity that was:

  • Calming, but not clinical

  • Professional, but approachable

  • Warm, but still grounded in clarity and direction

The colours, typography, and layout were all carefully chosen to feel supportive, not overwhelming — exactly how Kathryn wants her clients to feel when they engage with her.

From Visual Identity to online Presence

Once her brand was in place, it was time to bring it online. The website needed to carry that same calm, clear energy — and offer helpful information in a way that felt digestible and welcoming.

We designed a single page site that is:

  • Easy to navigate, even for overwhelmed parents

  • Structured clearly for schools and professionals

  • Full of warmth, personality and thoughtful touches

From layout to copy tone, every decision was made to reflect Kathryn’s values and build trust with her audience — often from the very first visit.
